If you can find someone that can make a homeopathic nosode of appropriate pathogens; this can be helpful.

I've used some Xylitol with some Essential Oil of Oregano, and brush your teeth with it.  Recently, I had a kind of blistered infection in my gums that really was very sore, and this is something I did quickly, as I was having to take my kids somewhere, and couldn't run around with the laser in my mouth.  It worked.  I can only say..... only a couple drops of the EO, as this oil is VERY strong, and Can burn so dilution is advised, but typically just stings a bit when used with the Xylitol as a tooth rub.  It will take care of any type of "normal" infection quickly.

I've used this EO of Oregano on a fluffy dental floss, in and around tooth roots, which has resolved different problems in the gum and tooth.
