I’m giving a general answer to an individual questions about muscle testing.
First, checking the strength of a muscle is the general province (as far as treatment) of physical therapists, and there are several texts about how to isolate and assess the strength of a given muscle.
However, the treatment system is Applied Kinesiology, originated by George Goodheart, a chiropractor in Michigan. (For info and referrals to nearby practioners, write in care of him at 20567 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 4823, with SASE). I regard him as one of the truly great and gifted healers of this time. What he’s done is to use muscle testing as the diagnostic benchmark to assess the physical condition of a patient. He’s incorporated any number of other systems from osteopathy, acupuncture, etc. into both diagnostic and treatment forms. It fits well with a number of other professions.
The simplified popular introduction is a book called "Touch for Health" by John Thie - available at most decent sized book stores. John Diamond has written of the effects of external stimuli, such as fluorescent lights, and while he gets somewhat wild, his basic premise is good. There’s also a book on testing for allergies (Your Body Doesn’t Lie (?)).
Self Testing
Question: One problem I have with muscle testing is that I don’t trust the results that I get with myself. Perhaps you can tune in and tell me if my fears are warranted—or if they are, how I can improve my muscle testing techniques. I am using two fingers on my left hand. When I try to pull them apart with my right and they remain strong, it means “yes” to me; if they become weak, to me it means “no.”
Answer: I know how confusing it is to know if strong means yes, or if strong means no! The answer is if you are testing against something, say, you have a sore throat, and in the clear you first test strong, then when touching the throat ~ go weak, then the throat has a problem. If you hold some colloidal Silver, Usnea, Echinacea, a homeopathic, or an Essential Oil up to your throat, and then are strong again, then that is a definite Yes, this is the right solution! You can also test to see how many supplements, drops of EO's, or Homeopathic Pellets, or drops of remedy.
If on the other hand, you are testing a questionable meat, and you go weak touching it, then it is bad., But if you are asking verbal (frequency) questions, and you are strong in the clear, and are asking “Is this a Viral Infection?” and you CAN pull your fingers apart, (change of strength) then that is a yes. If you could not pull your fingers apart, then it means no. (No change of strength) This method has obvious advantages when needing to quickly testing for a specific Homeopathic or Essential Oil. By testing while running left pinky over the various bottles in kit, you can move quickly towards the solution.
Sometimes, I have a child who has hit her head, or has something wrong (pulled out) in her back. I can check and see if this needs massaged, or moved one way or another…. You can muscle test. Do I need to move or massage this way? Do I need to rub it that way…. Sometimes with headaches or head injuries, cranial work can be done, by locating the place of injury, and massaging a spot in a particular direction, sometimes with an oil to allow some slip. This can be tested by gently running a finger over skin in direction of questioned direction. You will notice a change in muscle strength when the correct direction is realized.
It is confusing..... If you are testing against something in particular, OR if you are having someone test you... then you are looking for the obvious- to be obviously strong if it is good, or a positive solution, but if you are not testing against anything (challenging a muscle, then you can see a positive answer as a change of strength - i.e. going weak, as a positive answer. Does this make sense???
Vocal Testing
I am going to send you a short explanation of what I am doing. One thing I will say, is the reason our family thought to do it this way, is because of the NET procedure of asking verbal questions regarding Emotionally based allergies and illnesses. This procedure was developed by Dr. Scott Walker. We just took it a step farther. Your mind understands what you are saying. Words have meaning. Words are vibration. Our words have the power to kill or heal. We are accountable for what we say. Hurtful words make us emotionally sick, which a lot of times make us physically sick. If we can un-stick the emotion, sometimes we can heal the illness. NET is a Chiropractic technique called Neural Emotional Technique. It connects emotions with the Brains Neurons, and the organ in which the emotion is stored, and releases it. If you have allergies, that seem to have no root, please seek out a Chiropractor who practices this invaluable technique.
I come from a family with several Chiropractors in it, and so, have been trained informally in Kinesiology. It is basically testing muscle strength, and then challenging a bad energy pattern. You can test the headache with one hand on the headache, and one outstretched with another person gently and quickly pressing on the arm (not on a joint, as it has reverse polarity, and may have a bad reading).
As I am sometimes by myself, I have learned to self-test. Energy come in on the left side of the body, and out on the right. So, I hold my index finger and thumb together on the left (kind of in a flexed fish shape) and do the same with the right hand. I insert the right two fingers into the center of the left two fingers, and then try to pry open the left side. First you self test in the clear, then you can touch something with the left pinky finger. If it is bad, while you touch it, then you have found a weak point. Now you can try to find something to fix this weakness.
I always pray before I begin, and ask God for wisdom, to know what is wrong, and what to do for the family member I am working on.
I have recently started experimenting with the vocal vibration, (words have meaning that the brain understands) I have been asking questions, and then muscle testing. This has been really awesome. I have seen such huge success this way, that if I hadn’t seen it in action, by two family members, then experienced it myself, I’d not believed it.
I will say, that if you are vocally testing, and not touching something, -- then what you are looking for is a difference in strength. In other words, you test in the clear, and you are strong. Then you ask a question, is this a fungus? If it is negative, you will still be strong. If it is positive, you will see a difference in strength. You will go weak.
This is confusing, as it is opposite of testing with direct challenge physically. If you touch something lethal, you’ll go weak, and if you find an antidote, you’ll be strong again. What you are looking for is an energy strength change.
What you are working with is the body’s electrical system, (we are 90% water) We have seen such incredible results with this. You can even test which frequencies the body needs this way. Ask how many frequencies you need, over 500 Hz or under 500 Hz? How many minutes? Over 10 minutes/ under 10 minutes??
I work this way just asking questions, and narrowing it down to what the body wants. Find out the priority that the body wants.... In what order. The body is like an onion. The last history is on the outside, and you work in towards the core oldest issues.
Hope the following might give some help in finding faster answers.....
I begin by asking how many problems we need to work with today? In what priority; Is it an Immune problem, an Emotional, Chemical, Electrical, Enzymes, Hormonal, Heavy Metal or Chemical Toxicity, Organs, Structural Component, etc.? I ask these questions, then ask what to work on first, how many things will it take to fix each one? (I kind of make out an outline) I test to see WHAT specific things the body wants in order to treat each item. Is it Rife? Is it Essential Oils? Is it Homeopathic? Is it Enzymes? Is it Water, B Complex, or Minerals (for the Electrical system), Is it Herbs, Chinese Herbs, Herbal Tinctures? Is it Detox; A Detox Bath with one of the following: Dead Sea Salts, Epsom Salts, Vinegar, One of many Organic Hair Rinses, Essential oils; How many? Clays: Green, or White…?
I determine if it is Internal/External? Is it Nutrition? Is it Bach Flower Remedy's? Is it Prayer? (Of a Spiritual Nature) Is it Nutrition or is it a Chiropractic Adjustment? I go on and on with questions, finding out WHAT the problems the body wants to fix now, and in what order, and What it wants to do to fix each of these items, and in what order, and if it is External, or Internal. Does the body require the oils be placed on the top of the body or the bottom? Is this on the Top or Bottom? On the front or the back? On the Feet or the Knees? On the sole or the heel? Middle? Belly Button? Spine?
Do you see what I am doing?
A lot of allergies are nothing more than stuck emotions.... If these can be dealt with, one looses the allergy. Some allergies (stuck or un-dealt with emotions) go back 4 generations. This is confirmed scripturally with sins of parents going back 4 generations. So far, Chiropractors haven't been able to find genetic pre-dispositions to allergens back past 4 generations.
A lot of headaches are either stress, allergy, or hormonal.... I am NOT diagnosing, I am not a doctor. Just practice, ask questions, and get answers, play with it. Every time you come home with new oils, remedies, you will find your body will know and require another onion peal layer that needs to be addressed and fixed. We are wonderfully made.
Lately, we have been using eye movements to enhance this treatment. With Oils, I test to see if one needs to smell the oil after it’s applied? Do we need to look one way or another: Up/Down, Left/Right/Center, or roll the eyes? Do we need to tap on the spine while inhaling and doing eye movements? Do you need anything (remedy) in mouth while clearing? Do we need to hold an organ while inhaling oil, tapping or being tapped, doing eye movements, and applying oils???
Do you need to run a meridian? This can be done very easily with a laser pointer. I use this laser for the EFT tapping technique and it works very well.
Just practice, ask questions, and get answers, play with it. Every time you come home with new oils, remedies, you will find your body will know and require another onion layer that needs to be addressed and fixed. We are wonderfully made.
If you have questions, please write on list and ask. You might try combing your dog’s hair, and take it with you to a health food store, and ask “Which of these oils would help my dog heal from the cancer” Then using your left pinky finger, muscle test the lid of each one. It should be pretty quick. You need to see if there are any herbs that may work as well. This does away with hit and miss wastes of money with things the dog won’t need or benefit from. Then ask - Where does my dog need it put? Oral, Topical / Front or Back / Left or Right? Internal / External? Is there any Homeopathic's, Herbs, EO's, or Tissue Salts my dog needs? This one? ?????
Do you see? We have seen wonderful results with using a synergistic approach.
Not JUST Rife, not just essential oils, not just Cell Salts, not just homeopathic... Each works on a different plane. If the dog has tumors, perhaps it needs tumeric or Celery Juice to help dissolve them..... It may cost a little, you may learn a lot which will benefit you later for your family... It may turn things around. The castor oil pack with heat, and Liquid Milk Thistle might help the detox to keep the liver supported though. You’ll just have to find where the liver area on a dog is.
Working with Rife Frequencies and Testing
I have an idea, one that has worked well for years for us with nutrition, to fix disorders, but recently we were able to discern what frequency we needed to run to help fix a physical disorder. I know that Rife works. I know that sometimes it seems questionable, as we don’t have the Right Frequency. When you do have the right frequency, it definitely has the right affect.
If you first test in the clear. You establish a baseline.
Then you test what is the problem. This week, it was my sinuses and throat. I tested my sinuses, and went weak. Then, as my husband checked me, (gently pushed on my arm, but not on a joint) we verbally asked what frequency will help this sinus infection?
Is it = Over 500? Or Under 500?
(For me, a Positive in this scenario is strong, and weak is negative)
One can continue asking: Over 600, over 700, over 725? Under 725 ? Between 700 and 725 ? Positive..... Keep going until you get the answer you need.
Double check your answer, by checking in the clear again, and then checking your problem area, set your frequency, and then check to see if it makes the weakness strong.
It does take a little getting used to, but it helps to figure out quickly which one will work, as my Lodestar is kind of hard to fix on a specific freq. (time consuming) and it helps to know which one is going to work, before having to run 25 different frequencies to try to find the right one.
On the EMEM, you can ask, Is it the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th knob?? Is it higher or lower than 1500 hz ? Is this the Best frequency for this person? Is this the exact frequency she needs? How long does she need it for? More than 10 minutes? More than 30 minutes? More than 40 minutes? Exactly 40 minutes? Keep asking…
When the frequency is correct, previous to turning the frequency on, if one challenged the problem area, or reflex point with a direct muscle test, one would be weak, and if this is the correct frequency, it should strengthen this reflex… When the correct frequency is not needed any longer, and body is saturated with it, one will go weak again, as this frequency is no longer needed. At least this has been my experience.
Hope this is helpful. Keep experimenting with it, and develop your own technique. There is NO ONE way to do it.
Good luck!
