by Jacob Liberman
I have been reading the MOST Interesting book that I want to share with everyone.
It is called : LIGHT : MEDICINE OF THE FUTURE
by Jacob Liberman and published by Bear and CO.
The ISBN # is 1-879181-01-0.
It is really a fascinating book that covers a wealth of topics, most of which we are somewhat familiar with in principle. But he covers a wide range of therapeutic use of light and color and the "art" of mind and body Integration. This is from a science of physics and metaphysics viewpoint. He talks about treating cancer, AIDS and other illnesses using light, color and a light therapy called Syntonics that was developed by Dr. Harry Riley Spitler, who built on the light / color frequency research of Dinsha and further developed it. Personally, I had never heard of Dr. Spitler, but what I have read in this book is very impressive.
The author is an ophthalmologist, and he talks a lot about light spectrums and improving vision. One interesting quote was out of Popular Science Monthly and titled: "Noise Causes Bad Eyes", so vibrations have a lot to do with the visual spectrum, where they site current US statistics of 45% of US populations are nearsighted!
In the book, they tell of different lighting experiments in which they have vastly improved the eyesight of individuals using nothing more than colored filtered glasses and a light source! He discusses depression, and light therapy, the true statistics of skin melanomas and the sun VS working inside all day, and never coming in contact with the sun. He talks about dyslexia and poor quality florescent light sources, and experiments in which slow children and learning disabled children were changed to quality full spectrum lighting sources, where their behavior and their learning potentials have changed drastically. He sites experiments where mice were exposed to pink florescent lighting, where they developed tumors in 42 weeks; cool white developed them in 47 weeks, and it took 51 with full spectrum. There is something to working in artificial lighting all day with little to no contact with natural UV sunlight. He sites experiments clear back as far as the 1900's in which they experimented with color pigments and light!
One item of interest to perhaps Jim Bare is someone in his own city - a Doctor Hazel Parcells, who holds a doctorate in philosophy, Chiropractic, and Naturapathy. She is more than 100 years old, and in excellent health, (at the publish date of the book) and continues to maintain an active practice in Albuquerque! For 40 years, she has applied color in her holistic practice with very good results. She finds that color can in many cases successfully eliminate paralysis in stroke patients, and can return full function! Amazing! There is much more! Anyway, I think it is well worth getting this fascinating book. It costs only $16.95 Also it can be ordered direct from him at 1-800-81-LIGHT or 303-927-0100.
